Chapter 1, Part 1

Hey guys!! Finally i'm posting something important (though my previous post was important, any Kellan sexy Lutz news is obviously important in this fandom!) but seriously, I'm posting part 1 of my chapter by chapter of Eclipse! Woo!!

I didn't want to overwhelm you guys by posting the whole thing, because as you all probably know, I write alot. So enjoy part 1, part 2 will be up tomorrow.

Jakes scribbled out note:

Q Team Jacob fans…“Awww! Damn you Bella, it‘s Jake you want!”

Team Edward fans: “Whatever, Shut up Jake!”

I told myself I would not be biased, but let me tell you this, every time I read this section, even after reading Breaking Dawn, the first thing that comes to my mind is “Ok that’s pretty sad, but come on Jake you’re just trying to make her feel bad so she’ll come running back to you!” I’m sorry, he basically put his feelings in one note, and if he was worried about the note being “harsh” then he would’ve put the last un-scribbled sentence on a fresh piece of paper, but then again, I may be over analysing it. I still think that even after I read how much Jake had given up for her, to be with her, and how much pain he’d gone through, it rubbed against me in the wrong way. I felt that it was a good way to make Bella feel bad to make her go back to him. Let’s be honest, he’s a good contester in this “love game” I mean it almost worked didn’t it?

Charlie cooking, and “blackmails” his own daughter *tut tut!*:

Charlie cooking?! That’s what we all probably thought, but as he reminds Bella, he did live alone for so long before she came, and he survived off his cooking, even if it is hard to believe (he most likely ate at the diner most nights, or relied on take out!) So Bella‘s thinking, “why is Charlie cooking?” as are we, and because she is created by Stephanie to be a simple minded “bland” character, when we read it we become Bella, and of course as readers we’re entitled to ask questions.

It seems he’s “cooking” to get to Bella’s soft side…basically he’s setting the, as I like to call it “blackmail trap” Now I love Charlie as much as the next person, but he is a sly papa!! So Charlie’s slightly reluctant on getting to the point, so he plays with his sentences before finally laying down the trap… she’ll be ungrounded if she learns to balance out her time with Edward, in short “I want you to stop seeing Edward and go see Jacob and your friends… or you’ll be grounded for life! He left you once, what if he does it again?” Ok it may not be as harsh as that, but we all know he was thinking it! He prefers it if she was with someone else, someone like Jacob because Edward left Bella, who in his absence became a living corpse and it was Jake who brought her back to life - Its funny how one essentially takes her life hypothetically when he leaves, and the other is a breath of fresh air, and brings her back… is Jake like oxygen, and Edward a dementor? (Harry Potter reference, SORRY, but for those who don’t know, a dementor is a magical creature who essentially sucks the happiness out of you when around it, or if you’re an unlucky being and get kissed by one, you’ll be left soulless) I’m not saying Edward is evil, but isn’t that what vampire’s are capable of, sucking the life out of you? As harsh as it may sound it’s true. A Vampire is a living corpse, their heart doesn’t beat, blood doesn’t run through their veins, and they don’t need food, water, or even oxygen to survive.

I don’t like thinking of Edward as being evil, obviously he’s not sadistic like James, or the Volturi are, thank God, but he is what he is. Edward learns to control his thirst around her, by feeding more often, being apart from Bella, and believing she was dead, made her even more “fragile” so he wasn’t tempted by her “wine” as much. Of course Edward and the Cullen’s are good vampire’s, they’re vegetarians! When Bella opens the door for him, he smells her wrist, I thought it was pretty darn cute. Bella was sad at the thought of him having to resist temptation, around her all the time, but if Edward puts down his guard, he’ll be upset if he hurts her.

Charlie shows a lot of hostility towards Edward in Eclipse, we caught a glimpse of how it may be at the end of New Moon, when Edward emerged out of the car carrying Bella, who looked like she was unconscious. Charlie doesn’t express his “hatred” towards Edward in such words, but his hints at Bella, his huff and puffs whenever Edward’s around, or whenever he’s mentioned, and Bella’s observations are stated in the book. Though we all knew no matter what Charlie said, and asked Bella to do, she wasn’t going to leave Edward, ever, but it was cute, I always find myself smiling whenever Stephanie showed Charlie being a parent, because it’s not how people portrayed him to be, he was the chief of police, the big tough guy who carry’s a gun, and goes fishing with his friends. Like I said, I do love me some Charlie, he’s such a cute pop!

Re-Vamped the blog!!

As you probably already can see I've re-vamped the blog, thanks to Emma, who is always there when I need her =D So again thanks Em!!
Just wanted to let you guys know that I'm very excited that Kellan Smexy Lutz is going to be starting a new project soon... *cheers* I'm not sure if it's confirmed yet but I'm hoping it will be because i've got my hopes up already haha! Oh so the project is called "First Love then Marriage" It's a romantic comedy, and he will star along side Mandy Moore as her husband and Gwenyth Paltrow's mum Blythe Danner and Christopher Walken. Here's a quote I found "The film centers around Mandy's marriage counselor character, who after finding out her parents have separated, does all she can to bring them back together, to the detriment of her own new marriage" (http://www.hollywoodcrush.mtv.com/) It's being directed by Dermot Mulroney who directed my best friends wedding so it sounds promising!

Ofcourse I'm excited, (because it's Kellan) but what about you guys, what do you think? Do you think he'll be able to take on this role and do it justice? Because not everything is based on good looks, and a scumptious body... *sigh* lol!!

I'll go straight into it... I haven't been online posting because i'm ill... and I'm sorry! I know I promised you guys chapter by chapter on the 9th.. but because i'm STILL friggin ill I haven't been able to use my brain that much =/ it's a shameful excuse but it is indeed the truth! I promise... I SWEAR I will post 3 chapters by the end of the week... REALLY i will! I'm in what I call recovery mode, so i'm still ill, but i'm getting better, so it's only fair I give you 3 chapters to make up for my absence. So get reading people!!

Book club?!

I know i've been "missing" for a month, and for that I can only apologise, so here goes...
I'M SORRY! Am I forgiven? Yes?... No?! Ok so here's something that will make you forgive me, Oh i'm always thinking of new discussions to have on this blog, plus i'm literally ALWAYS thinking about Twilight anyway so it's kind of hard not to. So as you know, actually you don't know because I haven't told you, I'm reading Eclipse again, and I was talking to Emma, or as you guys may know her Zoomage about Eclipse, because she's reading it again too, and I had a light bulb moment... I want to have chapter by chapter discussions about the the series! So we'll start with Eclipse, since i'm reading it already, yeah I'm not one to go by the rule book, so sorry i'm not going to begin with Twilight, that will go second ha! So bascially the gist of my light bumb moment is for us to read each chapter, and every week, i'll blog about, it won't be boring, oh no, no, no, it won't be, that I can promise you, unless you dislike my humour, then I don't know what I can do to help you... *sigh*
I'll basically discuss what's going on in the chapter in a nutshell, give my thoughts on it, and then let you guys pitch in your opinions too. This is not a typical book club, it will be much different!
So i'm going to post chapter 1 tomorrow, I know it's short notice, but like I said, i'll discuss what's going on in the chapter for those who can't remember it, or didn't have time to read it.

I'm really looking forward to this for a number of reasons. Not only is this partly my favourite book, but also because it'll only excite me for the Eclipse LA premier which me and Emma are going to in June with Vanessa, aka TwiSisterhood, and it'll be a nice reminder of what should or shouldn't be included in the movie- though it's too late to do anything about it now- and for those who have read the script, of course you're welcome to pitch in, but please don't spoil it for us- Thanks!

Erm Bella? It's the 21st Century!

Hey Bella? Babe... it's the 21st century, the world's technology has developed beyond Einstein's imagination, yet you don't take advantage of this and buy yourself a mobile (cell phone) WHY?!

Hey don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with not having, or wanting a phone, but for Bella it should be a necessity- especially with her being a danger magnet and all.

Don't you think it could have saved her from ALOT of bother through-out the series? In the movie she had a cell but in the books a phone could have saved herself the stress.

In Twilight she was always wondering where Edward was, rather than pondering where he was, what he was doing, she could have got his number (Maybe it would be in the yellow pages- if Stephanie wanted to she could have - so don't laugh at my concept hehe) from someone- it could be on the school record- hey if the nomads could get Bella's deets, then Bella could get Edward's- and text him like "So, Ed babe... where you at?" Come on admit it, it's not such a bad idea right? Rather than searching for him at school, anticipating his return, she could have saved herself all those sleepless nights! I'm sure that would have surprised Ed babe- sorry Edward- just imagine, there he is hiding away in some forest, and all of a sudden he receives a text from the last person he wanted to hear from!

She could have saved herself from those creeps in the ally by calling the police, or even better, she could have pretended to make a phone call to someone really dangerous to scare off the creeps- Like: "Hey I told you not to hurt him! He only wanted to talk- Wow I didn't realise you could do that much damage to a person who came near me!" I mean if they're scared of Edward, then they may have been afraid of the mysterious person on the phone to the pretty girl walking alone at night! She also could have called Angela or Jessica to tell them she's lost. This would have been possibly better than my idea about her "calling someone dangerous" to scare them off.

In New Moon she could have stayed in contact with Alice at least- like in the movie she's emailing her, she could have left her a voice mail, or text her every so often- letting her know she's fine. OH Alice could have called her when she had a vision of her jumping off a cliff- could have saved the journey- I hope Bells would have lied to get her back because without out Alice's return, Bella wouldn't have been reunited with Edward- and that would kill us Team Edward fans! She could have even kept in contact with Charlie whilst in Italy- poor guy was worried sick- worried for his daughter, while she was away without a care- galovanting across the globe (That's what my friends mum said when she was telling her the gist of New Moon- look Mrs X- Bella couldn't tell Charlie she was off to Italy to save her vampire boyfriend from the Italian vampire mafia could she? Rather than her going to the airport, she'd have been sent away in a straight jacket- then what would have happened?!)

In Eclipse when Edward didn't let her visit Jacob she could have text him to let him know she's fine, and to check up on him atleast- hey I may have realised that I learnt to put up with Jacob and I am not actually Team Switzerland, but the dude atleast deserved an explanation, even if it would be via text! Whilst in the tent before the battle, she could have uploaded a video of a fire and imagined being warm- hehe- sometimes it works, when you're really cold to imagine lying on the sun or something! Or after Jacob over heard Edward and her convo about their top ten best nights- rather than having Edward run after him, she could have called him and explained!

In Breaking Dawn- I think she got her own phone- or she may have borrowed one of Edward's many phones- he's been around for some time, obviously he's had to live in the now, she that also means updating on technology! hehe- she called Edward somehow when she was hunting with Jacob and Renessme (see wasn't that simple?! and he arrived quicker than he would have if she had made Jacob go get him!)

There is probably many more times when Bella could have saved herself, and others alot of bother through-out the series, but these are the main ones I can think of.

One main reason I can think of her not having a cell is because maybe Stephanie wanted to show how vulnerable Bella was, to justify Edward's protective nature. Even though it's like a natural reflex for the Cullen's- Jasper for example, even though Alice is perfectly capable of looking after herself he still defend her- (Bella's graduation party- scaring Jacob when he got in the way of Bella and Alice leaving) and also in the battle scene when he was protecting her in battle too- so she wouldn't have to do much- now thats sweet! Bella to Edward is like a glass ball, it's very delicate, if it drops it will break- their love for each other is strong, but while she was human she was like a glass ball, but once she was a vampire, she's like a metal ball, hard and strong, but even metal can dent! Also Bella is described as needing protecting- even Jacob finds himself protecting her, and he thinks its annoying when Edawrd protects her from in his eyes silly things like the fight between Paul and Emmett.

Apart from the obvious- the story would be very different- that's all the main reasons, my brain can create atm- i'm kinda tried, and I have a very comfy warm bed, and a pillow fight waiting for me! hehe! But if you think of anything let me know (= would love to know!

Love Lockdown?

Now before Kanye interupts me, I better get straight to the point (=
I was in the line in the cinema to watch New Moon again- my friend had gone to get some drinks, and I was waiting in line to go into the theatre hall- there were a few girls behind me talking about the movie and the cast. Being who I am, I joined in, by smiling and laughing with them first. Whilst talking to them, I found that they were just fans of the movies and of Rob and KStew- there's nothing wrong with that right? The convo side tracked just a little, from talking about the cast and movie to their love for Rob. They said if they saw Rob they would pounce on him, we all laughed because they were joking- I hope! One of the girls in the group also said that if Rob was back in London she would sleep outside the place he would stay, and said that she would do just about anything to get close to him... this is found very disturbing and I pretended to make a phone call to find my friend who was suddenly lost in the food line- to get away from the psyco!
Later that night I began thinking about the types of fans that exist for the books and movies:

There are fans who love only the books- and think the movies don't do the books justice.
On the other hand there are fans who love only the movies- because they don't enjoy reading, or do have time etc... or just don't want to.
There are fans who like myself love both the books and movies.
Some fans who love the actors and will watch the movie to support them.
There are the new fans who are all the above and will continue watching the actors in future projects- I know I will- especially Rob and Kellan's future projects (=

I'm sure there's plenty more catagories for fans- but that's all I got at the time. Thinking of the types of fans that exist, it led me to think about where the actors would be without the amount of love and support they receive for their work right now. Even though I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the books and now the movies, I'm not that bewildered by them that I believe that Rob is Edward- because News Flash- as hard as it may be to believe- Edward is a fictional character!
I'm pro actor too, I love all the cast, I think they do a brilliant job and do the movie and characters justice, and also because they enjoy the series too, now when I get the chance to see them, yeah I'm going to express the above, and i'll be cheering for them, but I want to see them happy, and enjoying their fame, not hiding from it!! I'll be honest, I get really annoyed when I hear that fans overstepping the mark, crossing the "This-Is-My-Personal-Space" line. Rob for example has stressed time and time again that he doesn't like big crowds- that he's afraid of being stabbed- yet some fans feel the need to express their love to such an extent that it pisses me off, as i'm sure it does to ya'll! There are times when I'm a worried TwiFan =/
This also got me thinking ahead- God so much thinking in one night-talk about system overload! But anyway back to the point- Back off Kanye!! Where would the cast be with less support and attention? Would magazine editors want some cast members on the cover of their magazines if they weren't so big in the media right now? It's Rob, KStew and Tay Tay mania right now... it's cover after cover, interview after interview, movie production after movie production- not only for New Moon but also their other projects- they're in convos - literally EVERYWHERE! But would it be like that if they had less support? Would the movie's just be movie's if it wasn't for people and their love for the actors? Would they make as much as they are in the box office, if it wasn't for fans who go to watch them again and again, (i'm talking about fans who love the actors and their work)? I complain about fans who overstep the mark, but is it because of them that the cast and movie's are so huge right now? I don't know... I can speak for myself and a few others when I say that I want to knock some sense into the obsessive fans, it would make the actors life easier... right?
About 40% of the people who watch New Moon watch the movies because they want to see actors who they think are fit- in action. 10% will watch it because they want to know what the fuss is about, also because they've been dragged into watching it. 50% will watch it because they're fans.
Should there be a limit to the fandom? I've spoken to girls who don't see anything wrong with expressing their love for Rob or Taylor by screaming, shouting, crying, "stalking" them. I've also spoken to girls who are the opposite and believe it's wrong- after all they're human too.
There was something on twitter 2days ago about an attempt to a new trending topic to free Rob- leave Rob alone! What would happen if they do? It's not nice to admist, but the cast are where they are today because of those fans who overstep the mark with them, the media is as obsessive with them as the fans... but it doesn't mean its right!

*I stopped to watch the Thinking Of Rob video...*

The movies are making ALOT of money- you can say it's because of the amount of media attention. I'm all for putting an end to rumours and papz agression towards the cast- and other celebs, it's not fair. I don't agree with paparazzi shots, just because you're a celebrity, it doesn't mean they can't be treated with respect, it's not fair to be followed around by cameras and screaming people- think of it like a herd of people running after you with pitchforks, everything spells DANGER... it's wrong! Honestly, the fact that Rob can't even go to a friends concert in peace...disgusts me! I was speaking to Emma a few days ago about stupid rumours in a magazine I read just to humour myself... about Rob being spotted with a "mysterious" blonde... what's next... Rob out in a bar with Marcus- Heat mag the next day "Rob and Marcus...together?!" The fact is people... either we love Rob and want to see him out and about- meeting and greeting fans in the future. happy, making movies, making music, actually enjoying his fame, or we want to see him cooped up indoors, hating everything! We can atleast support sites and campaigns that are anti papz.
I'm currently having a discussion with TwiSisterhood aka Vanessa about Team North and South- North being Free Rob, South being have everything as it is now. Are we guilty for loving and supporting Rob, as fans are supposed to do? Or are we guilty for supporting lies and cheap shots in gossip magz? I don't want to offend anyone seriously thats the last thing I want to do, but this is something I feel really strong about, like I said I'm pro actor, I want to see them happy, not potentially running for their lives away from sleazy papz. So the question now is... what's to be done? What can we as fans do? I know one thing for sure, I don't want to see Rob hiding away, he's got talent and he's been given an opportunity to show his talent... do we really want to wake up one day and find RPattz has quit?

Dreams

So it seems like i've been away for ages... but i've been very busy- yes believe it or not I actually have a life outside Twitter and my blog- it's a very boring life but unfortunatly it exists =/ but anyway, I wanted to share a dream I had last night, it was a very weird dream...
So my dream starts with me in a yellow porshe, Emma aka Zoomage was driving-she was wearing some huge, heart shaped shades and a ridiculous wooly scarf around her head, and I was sitting in the passenger seat, wearing my PJs! We were going pretty fast, because the scenery was blurred. Does this remind you of anything...? A certain book and movie? Yeah it's not that hard... so we stop and Emma tells me to get out the car because whatever I was doing was something I had to do by myself- btw I didn't know what I was supposed to be doing (No i'm not stupid ofcourse I was supposed to be saving Edward.... but seriously it's a weird one)
I'm standing there, completly lost, I turn around to ask Emma what my "mission" was but she had gone! I could hear cheers and laughing, so I followed the noise- I end up getting lost in a crowd of people dressed in my least favourite colour, snotty green- Still confused, I look around for a sign... anything to help me, and there's an arrow pointing straight ahead telling me to follow the other arrows... so naturally I did. The arrows lead me to a clock tower- I was loosing my mind with confusion- I look towards the tower, and the brown doors open and out steps Vanessa or as you may know her as TwiSisterhood wearing a Team Cullen tee, I run to her to stop her from walking out into the sunlight (though I had no idea why...) and then the dream changed....
I was watching myself through a mirrored window- in the gym working out with Kellan- YEEEAH!! We're laughing and having a great time... hmmmm

So I turn to see Rob standing there with me- I didn't freak out- he's been in plenty of my dreams- He looked distressed, so I asked him whats wrong, he just sighed and said "how can I be ok when you've not chosen yet" now that confused me- I asked him what he was talking about and he just pointed to me working out with Kellan- then I clocked on, he was distressed because I hadn't chosen between the two- Now that's hard when I'm awake so in my dream ofcourse it's a difficult, impossible decision, and that's exactly what I told Rob- in a nutshell I said "Don't make me do this" It was a very serious scene- "It's not as easy as it sounds, please" and then... my phone rang and not in my dream- It was my phone company asking me to pay my phone bill which was overdue!

Now I'm hoping when I sleep tonight, this dream will continue... but then again I don't want to have to decide between Rob and Kellan. Also if anyone understands dreams- can understand what they mean then PLEASE contact me...

This was in the Daily Mirror this morning, its basically a section from the paper- it's a fansize mag! It has got to be one of the coolest things I've ever seen in a newspaper! I am so upset that Rob is in London and I am NOT! Do you know what it means to me that he's back in his home town?! It must bring back so many memories of when he was "normal" Poor guy has wanted to come home for sooo long and when he finally does come home... I'm not there! He's HERE... IN ENGLAND, WHERE I LIVE, but he's in London at a fan event that I sooooo wanted to go to! The people there are soooo lucky! I am incredibly JELOUS of them- you know what? I can't even talk about it anymore- IT HURTS... ALOT!
This video is great, Rob says how much he misses open mike nights and even driving! Something that he once said to be a weak link! Taylor explains how they're still shocked by the support and Kristen... well she doesn't say anything bless her!

11 DAYS LEFT UNTIL ONE OF THE GREATEST MOMENTS IN LIFE FOR TWIHARDS!!!

I'm having my own countdown special... For these 11 days i'm going to be doing craaaazy things all twilight related, and I want you all to join in... so starting it today (even though I did the below yesterday) I'll be posting my activites, and like I said I want you to join in and holla at me with your craziness!!

So I was having a discussion with a fellow TwiHard... and we thought it would be really cool if they sold Twilight/Edward/Rob wallpaper! But because I don't think they sell it... We decided we would create our own wallpaper by covering our walls with posters... So I already had a few up already...but it didn't cover the whole wall, so we gathered more posters and pimped out my room- The funny thing is... I reVAMPED my room yesterday in the day, and I had to give up my room to my uncle for the night and he said he couldn't sleep because and I quote "It felt wrong!" and here's why...

LMAO! I don't mind the Rob posters at all- I know i'll be having SWEET DREAMS- Now all I need is some Kellan posters then my shrine will be complete!!

So it took us foreeeeever to put them up but I kinda like it... so i'm going to keep them up for now hehe! Hopefully until they create twilight wallpaper... Send me pics of your SHRINES! ha!

Don't judge me OK... but I was in a store today and I brought Sugar mag because the cover of Lad mag had RPattz in - I always go with an open mind into each store hoping to find something New Moon related- but that's a whole other story. I got home to find this interview... Ok read it first then i'll tell you my problem with it...enjoy?

Is it just me or does that sound nothing like Rob?! I honestly think it's not him... unless the interview was with an imposter! There are parts of it that sound a little like him, but i'm not sold. The only good thing about this whole mag was the picture below! See this is what Rob does to me... he makes me buy silly, ridiculous magz simply because he's on it! I know I've been dragging my feet and such with posting here. But I have stuff to do!

Well, not really. But you get the idea. I've been doing other stuff. As you can probably tell by the banner at the top of the page. And I've had permission from Dee to totally pimp out the blog and even make it into 3 whole columns! How cool is THAT!?

Apart from making poor excuses, I've actually been setting up a battle plan for the New Moon premier and even looking for cheaper flights for when me and Dee to go LA for the Eclipse premier. Yes, I know it's 8 months away. But you can never be TOO prepared when it comes to travelling nearly halfway across the world and have Twilight as the main factor.

Needless to say, we have been up to our eyes in planning. I swear if I wrote it all down I would probably end up with a book a mile thick and weigh about 3 tons.

But enough of the babbling. My name is Emma a.k.a. Shiny Volvo Owner a.k.a SVO a.k.a Zoomage. Yes, depending on where you're talking to me will depend on what you refer to me as.

Our beloved Robert Pattinson was mentioned in the November issue of Cosmopolitian magazine... here is the section mentioning Rob from the article =)
Unless you've been living in a coffin for the past 6 months, you'll know the truth,:regular guys can't cut it anymore- they're just too conventional, too safe. Too...vegetarian. You see fellas with fans scream sex so loudly they make Russel Brand look like he Dalai Lama. Who doesn't come over all teenaged when Twilight's mysterious, moody Edward Cullen (aka Robert Pattinson), skulks on to our screens?

It's notable that women are leading the way creating the new breed of vampire stories- the Twilight and Sooke Stackhouse books (on which Truw Blood is based) are by Stephanie Meyer and Charlaine Harris respectively. And while Twilight is about abstinence and True Blood most definatly isn't (it's full of vampires who do have sex- with women dubbed fang-bangers) they share a common theme: romance, That is boy meets girl, they fall in love but they're not allowed to be together. Think Romeo and Juliet but with sex and sparks (we're sure this is the vibe Shakespeare was aiming for anyway).

It's the eve of halloween, so it's only right to post "unusual" stuff! Some of you females may be dressing up as the Cullen girls, or other female characters from the series, and some of you males may be dressing up as the Cullen boys- but wouldn't it be great if males and females switched roles?! So the guys dress up as female characters, and the girls dress as the Cullen boys! It would look something like this (excuse the realllly bad editing but it's a quick job... )

and because Twilight fans are great and dedicated, we completed the mission set by @Twilight! Someone told me that "Twilight fans are really sad, and need to get a life if they get excited about the release of the movie logo!" *slap!* LOL.
I don't really care about what twihaters have to say about those of us who love the Twilight series, because well firstly I know that Twilight doesn't have a shortage of fans supporting the series. Secondly the haters only have the guts to say it to one or two twifans, maybe I need to place them in a twilight event, THEN THEY SHOULD SAY IT-haha! Thirdly if they ever read the series, or watch the movie and trailers then they would understand why we love it so much, because they're not just 4 books, and they won't be just 4 movies- like Harry Potter, Twilight has made a place in our hearts, it's not just a love story, because unlike other romantic novels, Twilight has brought together so many people all around the world, it's like Stephanie has unknowingly created a whole other universe for those who love her books, and her characters. We literally EAT, DRINK, BREATHE...LIVE Twilight, and I'M NOT ASHAMED!

So TwiHaters...screw you, because I am saying this loud and clear- I LOVE THE TWILIGHT SERIES, and if you've got a problem with that, then deal with it!! =D

Naaasty looking, taaaaasty Edward!!

< - - - - Yes you can laugh... (I did too...) but the cake actually tasted surprisingly good- and not because it had Edward's face carved into the frosting!

NOTE TO SELF: Next time don't carve Edward into butter cream frosting because < - - - - - there's the result =/

The base of the cake was actually spongy- It was the first time a cake I made tasted really good if I say so myself- but maybe I should have used different frosting... but you can only learn from your mistakes so next time- yes there will be a next time- Edward won't look so...deformed!

So the plan was to actually make cupcakes but when the time came I realised I didn't have cupcake cases so I made a rectangle cake because I just wanted to really... here's the recipe for those who want to make a better cake than mine.. =(

Heres the ingredients and method I used:

Ingredients

225g of plain chocolate
225g of unsalted butter
225g caster sugar
170g plain flour 6 large eggs separated.

Method
With this recipe, melt the chocolate in a bowl over water.

Cream the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl.
Then quickly beat in the melted chocolate until nice and evenly mixed. Beat in a bit of the flour, then add an egg yolk, add more flour, then again egg yolk, until all 6 egg yolks and flour has been added.
Whisk the egg whites until they are frothy and the peak of the mixture stands up well.
Gently fold the egg whites into the mixture, being careful to lightly mix the ingredients together, without losing air from the egg white.
Pour and spread the mixture evenly and gently into a 20.5cm tin (8in), well greased with butter
Bake in a preheated oven at 180C or gas mark 4 for approx. 45 mins. Cut the cake in half or bake in two separate tins instead of one, so that you can add a filling between the layers.
You can also use icing on your cake or cover with some of the cake decoration ideas on this site.

So if you think you can do better which I doubt you'll be able to I mean look at my master peice.... Let me know! LOL!

The release of New Moon is only around the corner... I know you've probably already watched this friggin awesome trailer a million times but what the hey watch it again.... and then....

lets talk about how amazing this was!!
Firstly can I just say that Kristen has done an exceptionally good job with playing Bella. She has improved in such a short amount of time its really reassuring, I'm hoping that there will be less criticisms about her acting this time round. That's one of the great factors about movie adapations of a book series, there is time to develop and improve their characters!
Now even though I'm Team Switzerland I do have more love for the vamps! Edward the smexy Cullen is hot in his New Moon look! The clothes Rob is wearing now are more Cullen family attire than it was in Twilight- Alice as we all know is their "stylist". Edward's Twilight attire was not picked by Alice lol- it must be in his rebellion stage against her, because Alice would never let Edward walk out the house in jeans and a grey shirt... the peak coat ...maybe she'd have allowed it- and to be honest with you it did look good on Rob! But this look must be Alice approved. =D
My favourite parts of New Moon was towards the end of the book, from Italy onwards, so naturally i'm eager to see them, and this trailer has and will keep me satisfyied until the release =D
The Volturi are looking fantabulous!! Jane and Aro in particular are looking brilliant, exactly how i'd expect them to look, obviously some credit goes to Chris,the stylists, and the make up department- so thanks you guys!
The Wolves are even more awesome than I envisaged it to be in the book. We only got a glimpse of the transformation in Breaking Dawn from Jacob's point of view, but it didn't seem like anything new or jaw dropping for us readers because it wasn't anything unusual for Jacob. The on the spot and jumping over "humans" transformation makes it seem so much cooler than it probably is for the wolves. Its awesome detail like this that is going to attract a new variety of audiences!

As you all know- or don't know- i'm a HUGE, OBSESSIVE twifan, and I think its great that TwiFans unite over the series. Whilst talking to my new friends on twitter, I've come to realise that even though I have a few characters from the books that I like, I can't choose one specific favourite from the Twilight series... and then to make things worse they cast such beautiful actors to play the role that I'm sorry but I cannot pick one team, I'm "team I can't choose because I love them all" apart from the "naughty vampires" aka the Volturi, and the Nomads, even though the actors are somewhat cute! haha!
So why is it that some people cannot choose one team?

Look at them...

So apart from the obvious reasons... that they're beautiful- I have to give solid reasons... so lets wipe that drool, fold in our tongues and wind up our jaws and begin...

Whilst most people are fans of Robert Pattinson because he's playing the perfectly sculpted Greek God Edward Cullen, others love him because of who he is- he is a humble being, who describes himself as being the opposite of Edward, he hates attention, has a beautiful voice, and he's super talented -the list goes on...I love them both, Edward because of how chivalrous he is, and because all the wanted to do was settle down with Bella, and when Renesme came along he was a proud papa who still believed he didn't deserve it! While I love Robert because he is the opposite to Edward, I love that he's not perfect- because nobody is =/ he is a great actor who doesn't deserve to be treated bad by the media.

I love PFach because he's such a good papa, in character as Carlisle and in real life. Apart from the obvious that he's extremely good looking its nice to know that fame hasn't changed that factor about him- his family is always first =) There wouldn't be a "Bellward" without Carlisle, he saved Edward from dying, and took him in as a son. He suffered in silence throughout the transformation from human to vamp and has never took a human, he saves them. Esme is one lucky vampire and Jenny is one lucky human!

Kellen *sigh* and Emmett are both cuddly grizzly bears- see what I did there?! (chuckle) I love Emmett because he's like a big child, he's incredibly patient when it comes to Rosalie but when it comes down to a fight he's the first one up! He teases Bella which is hilarious- breaking dawn is the best example of this, his innuendos to Bella and Edward's intimacy! Kellen...he's a fan favourite, i've heard he loves the attention- he's done push ups on stage at events, he doesn't mind out of control fans- so basically he's the opposite to Rob! You gotta love him, because I do!

Taylor now whats not to love about him aswell, he's buffed up "30 pounds of muscle" to continue being Jacob, that shows dedication, he's only 17! He seems to love wearing Calvin Klien suits- mans got style! There is something about his voice that makes you want to listen to him lol- is that weird? Jacob, i'll be honest with you, took me a while to like, 3 books into the series! I hated him at first, because he was getting in the middle of Bella and Edward, but then once I read Breaking Dawn I saw how much he'd given up for Bella, for her happiness and safety, I couldn't help but feel for him, and he was absolutly hilarious with his blonde jokes=)

Jasper is the strange one, I want to know what goes on in his mind, he's mysterious! I also think he's incredibly romantic, he's not flamboyant about his love for Alice and thats what makes him even sweeter! Jackson to me seems unpredictable, I don't know what to expect! He has the strangest hair do, but thats what we fans love about him- his mohawk?

Now my favourite aggressive wolf has always been Paul! I'm sorry but I loved him even more when he turned on Bella for some reason, and when him and Jacob fought... well that was the best uncalled for fight throughout the series LOL! Alex Meraz... yummy! Is there any need to say more?! He has a great sense of humour, his tweets make me chuckle, and I had his video on replay- the aggressive one!

I've not even gone into detail about them even though this post is long, but I think this is all I can take LOL...

Stephanie has created individual Vampire's but she wasn't the only one, Sheridan Le Fanu created the tale of "Lesbian Vampire- Carmilla"...don't be shocked lol, obviously it was taboo in the 1800's but we live in the 21st century so its acceptable for most people! =) but back to Stephanie, so her vampires have super strength- I mean they can't be killed unless they're torn apart and burnt!

Edward has the ability to read minds, and he makes a cheetah look like turtle!
Alice has premonitions- which to be honest is really cool!
Jasper has the abiltiy to change a person's mood.
Jane has to power to create an illusion of pain and not to mention her twin Alec
Alec has the ability to essentially numb someones senses so they can't hear, talk or think!

But we all know their super powers but compared to other vampire's in other fiction Stephanie created aliens! (aliens that have taken over the world lol!)
So apart from the obvious differences, why is it that us readers are not afraid of them? Is it because her story is based upon love? We're not afraid of the Cullen's, and we're not afraid of their "conventional" associates because they drink human blood, we're possibly afraid of their actions towards Bella and other humans in the series, for example i'm not frightened of Victoria, but i'm apprehensive towards her because Bella is- does that make sense? The Cullen's are portrayed as the mysterious people who moved from Alaska, up until Bella's graduation party no human had set foot on Cullen property, they are the wealthy bunch who live a life of luxery- but what you see is not all that it seems- that is why Bella was drawn towards Edward, she was drawn towards what should have been danger in typical circumstances, but like I said, Stephanie created an individual story so we were in for a shock when the plot began to unravel.
Don't worry i've not forgotten the Werewolves....sorry Shape-shifters. Werewolves also fall into the gothic fiction genre. A classic example of a movie is "The Wolf Man" released in 1941- this werewolf and many other werewolves transformed on a full moon- Remus Lupin in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Stephanie's werewolves are also very different to the average werewolves in fiction.

They don't transform on a full moon
Their transformation from human to wolf is simple and pain free
They do not become a wolf by being bitten, it is in their blood you could say- it's been passed down from generations
They protect human life
There is an Alpha and Beta male in a gang- A GANG OF WEREWOLVES who'd have thought!

But this still hasn't answered the question, so lets talk life at the moment. Vampire's and Shape-Shifters have become popular in the media, wherever I turn I see Twilight- (and no not just in my room.) True Blood has become a popular series- which is also a book adaptation. Vampire Diaries has become a popular series about 2 vampire brothers, 1 is good whilst the other is evil. Movie directors are also eager to get involved in the Vampire franchise- "The Vampire's Assistant" being an anticipated movie since the clips have been released, the list goes on believe it or not, there is a whole list on IMDB-(the least reliable source to get information ,so i've heard....on Imprint podcast)
So it seems since Twilight became a phenomenon everyone wants a peice immortality, i'm not saying it's just Stephanie and the Twilight franchise that has sparked the supernatural genre to grow, but she is partly the reason!

Twilight VS New Moon

This is a pretty old photo compared to how many we've received since then, but did we really go into which director got it right?
This time last year we were anticipating the release of Twilight- It seemed Catherine Hardwick and Summit Entertainment were making wise decisions, they reassured us fans when photos were released and we saw how much detail had gone into each of the characters appearences, that they were on the right track. The character images that we had conjured up in our minds had taken a human form.
The pressure was on, would the movie life up to fan expectations? The cast and crew members were shocked by the reaction they got towards the movie's release, even though they received some backlash concerning Robert Pattinson taking on the role of Edward, they still didn't expect the series to become a phenomonon. The movie's release was heavily anticipated when clips were released and they saw the characters come to life.
So the movie was released and it did exceptionally well with a $70.6 mil weekend box office gross, it seemed then that Catherine was everyone's favourite often referred to being a Twi God by some fans. News came that New Moon would begin production shortly after, what fans did not expect was Summit's news report that Catherine Hardwick will not be returning to direct the second installment of the series. Fans were outraged, and confused to why there would be a new director. When Chris Weitz was comfirmed to take on the movie we were all wondering what his approach to the movie would be, since he directed Golden Compass- people thought there would be talking animals, and everything would look well...fake. They were anxious because Twilight was a love story and having a women direct did it justice as she allowed the love element to be the main focus. How would Chris portray emptiness in Bella's life, the loss of a loved one? Depression? Fans thought it would be justice if a female took on the role but once images and clips were released it seemed all our doubts were pushed to one side and you could say they were replaced by hope and excitment. Catherine disappeared from our minds- literally it was "Catherine? Catherine who?!"
The first trailer was released and it showed the wolf transformation, immediatly fans went crazy, it was to be honest AWESOME! It looked real, exactly how we pictured it to be in the book, (even though some said the wolf looked too small) this doubt was shortly erased too when the official trailer was released and we saw enormous wolves as described in the book. So Chris had taken the top spot in fans minds, at comic con he was very much involved in the questions and gave detailed answers. From what the cast has said about him, he is all about the movie, but is- you can say calmer than Catherine- even though he has a short amount of time to complete the movie, and most importantly he has a sense of humour, his relationship with the cast seems genuine.
We began comparing the 2 directors, their approach to the movie and their ideas. I'm not going to lie, I think Chris has a better idea of the characters images than Catherine did, maybe that's because of the feedback that was given for Twilight. Fans didn't know what to expect before Twilight was released and even though it did extremely well there were alot of critics- the Cullens and Nomads were too pale, we could see their make up, and contact lenses, this was wrong, that wasn't portrayed well... etc. Even though the fight and baseball scenes were "visually dynamic" and Catherine did a great job with them, I some how doubt she'd be able to choreograph the stunts in New Moon.
She did well to lay down the foundation and us fans are greatful to her, because without her there wouldn't be an adaptation of New Moon, but there is no doubt in my mind that Chris hasn't done an awesome job with New Moon- so CW for BD!!
So i've attempted to balance out factors on "which director got it right"- let me know if you guys think of anything i've missed out =)

New Moon Soundtrack

So this is my first ever post and hopefully not the last, so why not begin with the exciting news that came directly from the horses mouth Twilight via twitter that the soundtrack is being moved up to be released on ... (drumroll please... )FRIDAY!
*fans go wild* It may only be a few days before October 20th but I don't know about you but that honestly excites me beyond anything at the moment, for a number of reasons:
   1st- It means my Twilight soundtrack can finally have a break (if the songs could mysteriously disappear from a CD mine would be the first- they're probably sick of being played!)
   2nd- I will be reading New Moon once again with the soundtrack this time and what can be more exciting than trying to fit the scenes into the songs? Will you be trying it ...? Come on don't pretend you won't- I know you're all obssessive as i am =) DW I'm not here to judge you! =)
   3rd- Even though I know lots of fans were disappointed that our beloved Mr Pattinson wasn't going to be featuring on the soundtrack there are still some pretty good artists on it.
   4th- Well its Twilight related and it must be added to my collection- I mean I can't buy the Twilight soundtrack and not buy the New Moon one, it's insanity!
So it seems Summit are making some wise decisions atm regardless of their past. They are doing well to cater to us twihards!
